Chris James’ music career spans from 1972 to the present. He has performed with Stan Getz, Richie Cole, and opened for Dave Brubeck, Ramsey Lewis, Ray Brown. Chris is from San Francisco and currently living in Seattle.
Chris has performed at national jazz festivals, jazz cruises,
colleges, clubs, and concerts. Just One More Kiss is his first jazz
album since 1986. The CD is a compilation of 7 years of live and
studio recordings in Little Rock Arkansas. Featuring Chris James,
piano; Joe Vick, bass, and Dave Rogers, drums.
This CD represents a resurrection of The Chris James Trio, which
now features:
Dave Rogers and
Joe Vick.
The title track,
Just One More Kiss, is a
song written for my wife Jane. It's a fitting title because the
CD is truly a labor of love from some great players in Little Rock.
